Domestic Violence Training:

In October 2021, the Nevada Coalition to End Domestic and Sexual Violence (NCEDSV) provided a Domestic Violence Safety training to the RNCoC. This training provided an overview of the core concepts of safety for survivors of interpersonal violence, and best practices on safety and planning protocols for all housing providers, using a trauma-informed and victim-centered approach. Please watch the recording of the training using the link below:

Additional materials, including the PowerPoint handout and additional information sheets, are also linked below. Once you have viewed the recording of the training, we ask that you please complete and submit the 2022 Domestic Violence Training Acknowledgement Form, linked below. This will allow us to track and report on training participation in 2022.

This training is required to be completed by all CoC providers, including staff at all Coordinated Entry sites. This is to ensure Coordinated Entry staff are informed on the core concepts of safety for survivors of interpersonal violence and the best practices for safety planning and using a trauma-informed approach.

HUD Equal Access Rule:

In May 2022, the RNCoC was provided with information regarding HUD’s Equal Access Rule. The training provided information and guidance from HUD regarding Equal Access and Gender Identity Rules. If you have not already, please watch the training using this link:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4y5bP-zXHmY

Once you have viewed the recording of the training, we ask that you please complete and submit the 2022 Equal Access Training Acknowledgement Form, linked below. This will allow us to track and report on training participation in 2022.

If you have already watched this webinar and submitted an acknowledgement form for the HUD Equal Access Training in 2022, you do not need to submit another for this training.
